23 March...Hi everybody. I'm sitting in a teacher's conference learning about -- what else -- wikis! Mr. Warlick was speaking about how great it is to have students work on wikis in class, and I thought it would be a really great idea to have you guys work your Politics project via wiki.

If you look to the left, there is a site called Election 2007. Here you will find links with each of your party names. I think this would be a great place to base your Party Headquarters. When it comes time to campaign, you could direct your constituents to your wiki for anything you want to show them. If you've already made your own websites, you could even link it from there. If you go the discussion tab up top of that page, I'd like you to let me know what types of things you would like to add to your space. Video, text, pictures...whatever you want. If you already know how to do it, great! If not, I thought I could do mini-lessons for you. It's really easy!

Friday's Class: You need to brainstorm with your party to figure out your approach to the four main issues that must be addressed in your platform. This should be done together so that all members of your team have a say and apply your party line to each aspect of the project. You can do these in point form if you like, but make sure you're as detailed as possible.

Before the end of class, you should also have ideas in motion to produce a suitable logo. If possible, produce this electronically so it will be easier to attach to the rest of your work.

Best of luck!
